EDIT SARAJEVO

Predrag Simanic

Junior Tester

Your role at Comtrade

  1. When did you join Comtrade and what is your current role?

I attended two internship programs at Comtrade and one of those programs was EDIT 2016, which resulted in a full-time job offer in February this year. I currently work as a Junior Tester.

  1. What’s the best part about working at Comtrade?

Work atmosphere is very relaxing, and colleagues are great. Everyone is willing to help, and I shouldn’t forget excellent working conditions.

Your experience at EDIT

  1. Why did you apply for EDIT?

I decided to apply for EDIT after hearing about it from previous interns and how helpful it is if we want to learn something new, and if we want to get a taste of working on real projects. Also, I read a lot about previous internships on EDIT ‘s Facebook page, and that alone was enough for me to apply.

  1. What was your experience at EDIT like? What project did you work on?

My experience at EDIT was great, just like I’ve heard about from previous interns. We worked on an Android application that was used for locking and unlocking doors via our mobile devices. We actually got it to work by the end of our internship program and it felt great.

  1. What is your favorite memory from EDIT?

My favourite memories from EDIT are that we got to meet new people, and to work with them on real problems, while using technology some of us never used before.

  1. How did EDIT help prepare you for a career in IT?

EDIT really helped me to gain new experiences, and to get a taste of working on real projects at a large company such as Comtrade. It also helped me because we got to work with new people, where we didn’t know each other’s abilities.

Your future at Comtrade

  1. How do you see your future at Comtrade?

In the near future, I see myself working as a Tester, while learning new things and getting better at those I already know.

  1. What would you like to accomplish?

I would like to learn as much as I can about technologies I get to use, to get the best that I can at working with them, and to give my best to accomplish that.
