Your role at Comtrade

1.When did you join Comtrade and what is your current role?

I joined Comtrade in 2005. Since 2008, I have been working on a Tax Administration project for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I hold several key responsibilities – Senior Business Analyst, Deputy Project Manager, Team and Technical Lead.

2.So far, what has been your greatest accomplishment at Comtrade?

I am especially proud of the fact that I have managed to establish good business communication based on mutual respect and trust with one of our very demanding clients. I’m also very proud of the fact that I’ve mentored my team to move up in the company and grow their personal and technical skills.

Your role at EDIT

1.Why did you decide to become a mentor?

I wanted to contribute to the development of young new colleagues and share my experience and knowledge that I gained in this company.

2.What do you find the most fulfilling about being a mentor?

I enjoy seeing how students gain new knowledge, interact, exchange ideas and develop professionally during the course of the program.

3.Why is it important to have a summer school like EDIT?

From the company’s perspective it is very important because we have an opportunity to evaluate the student’s personal, technical, logical and learning skills. It’s a good way to select the best candidates to join the company. And at the same time, it’s very valuable for the young people as they are being introduced to new technologies, Comtrade’s values, work environment and business processes.
